Paul D'hooge
Is the driving force behind Nidri Global Sailing, a charter company founded in 1990 and specialising in crewed sailing yacht charters on fast and comfortable yachts.
Although in recent years mainly active in the eastern Mediterranean, the name "Global Sailing" has not been chosen in vain: Paul has made several Atlantic crossings on his 'Nidri', he has navigated the rivers of the Orinocco delta in Venezuela, crossed the Caribean from Trinidad all the way to Cuba and back, visited every island in between, laid anchor in the ports of the Azores, the Canary Islands and the Ballearic islands in Spain...
Since 2001 he returned to his back-garden: the wonderfull islands of the Greek Sporades in the Agean See.
First aboard 'Nidri', his faithfull Skipper 53, and since May 2008 aboard his recently purchased "Quattordici", a fast and comfortable Grand Soleil 52, he explores the waters of the Sporades.
From May till October he organises weekly sailing cruises aboard Quattordici, for sailors and landlubbers alike, who want to experience the life aboard a true blue water cruiser.

Apart from Dutch, Paul is fluent in English, French, German, Spanish and Greek. That comes in handy when sailing into remote ports and anchorages...
