The renowned Bill Shaw hit a home run when he collaborated with
Pearson Yachts to create the racer 36. The solid fiberglass hull provides
strength and durability and her sailing performance is well documented
. With 6' or more of headroom throughout,
comfortable sleeping room for 6 and an incredibly efficient galley to
feed the crew, it's hard to imagine living anywhere but aboard! The
Pearson 36 was built by a man passionate about cruising, and his
appreciation for comfort under sail and on the hook shows throughout.
A comfortable, dry cockpit coupled with ample
stowage, freshwater or sea water in-cockpit wash down and a bimini to
protect you from the sun. The Master stateroom is a nice double berth,
with 4 open lockers. Having 4
drawers and two large under cushion lockers. There is also 1 double berth, 2 quarter
berths; to accommodate a total of 6 including Captain, 1st
Mate, and guests.
The navigation center on “ROSIE” provides ample room for a skipper
to play with time, speed, distance charts and electronics; and the open
galley provides even the most calculating chef with efficient, purposeful
storage and workplace. This boat has her chart plotter/radar, mounted on
a swing arm, for viewing availability either at the navigation table or
out in the cockpit. The navigation also has it
own pilot’s berth with large under cushion storage.
